Fossils

Yields the Bivalve Oriocrassatella-Schizodus assemblage, and the Brachiopod Subansiria ranganensis-Neospirifer faciger assemblage, the features of which are similar to those of the fauna found in the Subanxili area. In the Nazha Region the limestone lenses in the upper part of the Qudi Fm yield also Fusulinida represented by Schwagerina, Pseudofusulina, Pamirina, Eoparafusulina, Rugosofusulina and Chalaroschwagerina, being to the Pamirina-Eoparafusulina zone of Fusulinida, being similar to those of the Fusulinida fauna of the Longlinian Stage of the Chuanshanian Epoch in South China.
